Promoter Details

EF1 promoter (EF1α promoter, Elongation Factor 1 alpha promoter) is a constitutive promoter derived from the eukaryotic elongation factor 1α (EF1α) gene. It has the characteristics of broad-spectrum expression, long-term stability, and low risk of silencing. CMV, strong promoter, human cytomegalovirus immediate early enhancer/promoter, will be silenced in some cells, there are two types: 878bp and 1153bp.

Functional Gene Details

DORs system, DORs is composed of Drosophila olfactory receptor 35a (OR35a) and co-receptor Orco; controller: 2-pentanone (flavor agent derived from banana), effector: Drosophila 2-pentanone odorant receptors (DORs). Calcium ion fluorescence reporter gene (also called indicator gene): jGCaMP8s is a highly sensitive calcium ion fluorescence indicator developed by the HHMI Janelia team. It belongs to the jGCaMP8 family. It is about 2 times more sensitive than jGCaMP7s and has a response speed 2 times faster than jGCaMP7f. More than times, it is suitable for neuron single action potential detection, deep brain imaging and low-activity cell calcium signal tracking. It is often used for neural circuit research, in vivo calcium imaging and cell function monitoring related to gene therapy.

DORs system, DORs is composed of Drosophila olfactory receptor 35a (OR35a) and co-receptor Orco; controller: 2-pentanone (flavor agent derived from banana), effector: 2-pentanone odorant receptors (DORs) of Drosophila.

lentivirus

Notes

1. Short-term storage at 4°C; long-term storage at -80°C

2. It can be stored at -80°C for more than 6 months. Each time it is frozen and thawed, the titer will be reduced by 10%, and repeated freezing and thawing should be avoided; if the virus is stored for more than 6 months, it is recommended to re-measure the virus titer before use

3. According to the experimental needs, the virus can be appropriately diluted and divided into the volume required for each experiment.
