Promoter Details

EF1 promoter (EF1α promoter, Elongation Factor 1 alpha promoter) is a constitutive promoter derived from the eukaryotic elongation factor 1α (EF1α) gene. It has the characteristics of broad-spectrum expression, long-term stability, and low risk of silencing. CMV, strong promoter, human cytomegalovirus immediate early enhancer/promoter, will be silenced in some cells, there are two types: 878bp and 1153bp.

Functional Gene Details

DORs system, DORs is composed of Drosophila olfactory receptor 35a (OR35a) and co-receptor Orco; controller: 2-pentanone (flavor agent derived from banana), effector: Drosophila 2-pentanone odorant receptors (DORs). Tag protein: tdTomato, red fluorescent protein, excitation wavelength 554nm, emission wavelength 581nm.

Notes

1. Short-term storage at 4°C; long-term storage at -80°C

2. It can be stored at -80°C for more than 6 months. Each time it is frozen and thawed, the titer will be reduced by 10%, and repeated freezing and thawing should be avoided; if the virus is stored for more than 6 months, it is recommended to re-measure the virus titer before use

3. According to the experimental needs, the virus can be appropriately diluted and divided into the volume required for each experiment.
