Promoter Details
CAG, strong promoter, an artificially constructed combined promoter, composed of cytomegalovirus early enhancer and chicken β-actin promoter, 1731bp.
The C AG promoter is a combination of the CMV promoter (C), the chicken β-actin intron (A) and the rabbit β-globin intron region (G). It is a strong constitutive promoter with no cell tissue specificity.
The CAG promoter is a combination of the CMV promoter (C), the chicken β-actin intron (A) and the rabbit β-globin intronic region (G). It is a strong constitutive promoter with no cell tissue specificity; functional gene: TetTox, also known as TeNT, is the light chain of Tetanus toxin. It is a protease that can specifically degrade VAMP2, inhibit the release of synaptic glutamate transmitter vesicles, and interrupt neural electrical signal transmission.
